Detroit Lions WR Calvin Johnson left no doubt this time, scoring a 46-yard touchdown against the Chicago Bears after his week-one score against the same team was ruled a dropped pass. Megatron has now scored in four consecutive games, eight of his last nine, and nine of the last 11. If he can double his first-half total of 54 yards, he’ll have his fourth 100-yard game since week six.
QB Drew Stanton, taking over for the injured Shaun Hill, has played well against one of the league’s toughest aerial scoring defenses and also rushed in a touchdown. In his previous start, against the New York Giants, Stanton threw for 222 yards and a touchdown and ran for 30 yards, so you can probably count on a few rushing yards from here on out if you’re playing the Lions de facto starter. He also decided today would be a good day to debut his Dougie:
RB Chester Taylor and RB Matt Forte are on the board for the Bears, with each running for a touchdown. Forte has 58 total yards, and QB Jay Cutler has 130 yards but no touchdowns.
