Week 6 Bye Teams: Denver, Tennessee, Kansas City, Arizona, San Diego, Seattle
Our friends at numberFire.com gave us the following list of their Top 25 tight end projections for Week 6 of fantasy football. They base their numbers on historical statistical data fed into magical computer algorithms that produce the projections.
Young Jimmy Graham has been hot, and tops the rankings for tight ends in Week 6. The New Orleans tight end has had a rapid ascent up the charts and is a good bet to continue his run as long as Drew Brees is his quarterback. Jason Witten returns from a bye week to face the Patriots, who also have a pair pretty good tight ends in Rob Gronkowski and Aaron Hernandez. Hernandez had a successful return from injury last week. The game between the Cowboys and Patriots could be a tight end bonanza.
Out in Detroit, Calvin Johnson has had some help in the receiving department, tight end Brandon Pettigrew is putting together a nice run. Dustin Keller had a bad week last week, and it may not get too much better this week. He's a risky play.
* Fantasy Points Projections are based on the Yahoo! and ESPN default scoring settings. Quarterbacks are scored with 1 point for every 25 passing yards, and 4 points for every touchdown. For running backs, wide receivers, and tight ends, they are scored with 1 point for every 10 total yards, and 6 points for every touchdown. This is a non-PPR projection.
Injured players appear on the list, this is their projection IF they play.
