Fred Jackson just continues to churn out impressive fantasy performances. The Buffalo Bills running back turned in another one on Sunday, rushing for 121 yards and a touchdown, while adding 47 yards on five catches. He even threw in a 80-yard touchdown run for those of you in bonus leagues.
It continued what has been a monster thus far in 2011, both in fantasy and real-life. In points-per-reception leagues, he's been especially dominant as his role as Ryan Fitzpatrick's favorite checkdown option and a featured screen returner has opened up opportunities to gain massive chunks of yardage.
He's parlayed those opportunities to 480 rushing yards, 232 receiving yards and five total touchdowns, making him a matchup-proof RB1 in the early going. Yahoo!'s guys ranked him as the fifth-best running back for the Bills' Week 6 tilt against the Giants, who were giving up the 11th-most rushing yards and third-most rushing touchdowns in the league before Sunday's game.
