Matthew Stafford raised the bar so high for his fantasy production that a day like Sunday actually seems somewhat disappointing. Of course, passing for 293 yards and two touchdowns is hardly something to scoff at. But Stafford did come up short on the scoreboard as well, failing to move the Lions on their final drive of the game.
Stafford entered Week 6 averaging 287 passing yards per game this season with 1436 yards and 13 touchdowns in his first five weeks of the 2011 NFL Season. He has thrown for two touchdowns each of the last three weeks.
Having Calvin Johnson at wide receiver helps boost Stafford's fantasy potential. Yahoo! Sports ranked Stafford as the seventh best quarterback for Week 6. He faces the 49ers 23rd-ranked pass defense.
