Matt Schaub Fantasy Update: Slow Day For Schaub

Stay connected with SB Nation

Matt Schaub has passed for just 212 yards and one touchdown against the Ravens today. At the two minute warning, Schaub's team was down by 12 points. He has completed 19 of 34 passes, and is no doubt counting the days until wide receiver Andre Johnson can return to action.

Schaub enters Week 6 averaging 275.4 passing yards per game with 1377 total yards and nine touchdowns through his first five weeks of the 2011 NFL season. Last week against the Raiders Schaub topped 400 yards through the air with two touchdowns, but also two interceptions.

Schaub has been an average fantasy quarterback this season. Yahoo! Sports ranked him as the 14th-best play for Week 6, matched up against the Ravens stingy defense, ranked 8th against the pass.
