Jay Cutler Fantasy Update: Chicago Bears QB Throws Two Touchdowns In 1st Half

Stay connected with SB Nation

The Chicago Bears built up a sizable 26-3 lead over the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday Night Football in large part due to Jay Cutler. Cutler has thrown for 192 yards and two touchdown passes after one half of play. He had an impressive 48 yard throw to Devin Hester, providing fantasy owners bonus points in leagues that do track distance.

Cutler was averaging 241 passing yards a game with 1,209 passing yards on the season and six touchdowns with four interceptions through his first three games of the 2011 NFL season. Cutler's passing yards per game is up nearly 30 yards per game.

Cutler was ranked by Yahoo! as the eighteenth quarterback heading into Week 6 with the taking on the Minnesota Vikings who rank 25th against the pass.
