Hakeem Nicks Fantasy: Giants WR Falls Just Shy Of 100 Yards

Stay connected with SB Nation

Hakeem Nicks turned in the kind of performance people in "bonus" leagues dread. His 96 yards on four catches were certainly nice, but plenty of owners will be thinking "not nice enough." That Nicks failed to get into the endzone, although he did come tantalizingly close when he was pushed out of bounds at the 5-yard line at the end of a 60-yard catch.

Nicks was averaging 82 receiving yards a game with 412 receiving yards on the season and three touchdowns through his first five weeks of the 2011 NFL season. Nicks' receiving yards per game is nearly identical to last seasons'.

Nicks was ranked by Yahoo! as the 4th ranked wide receiver heading into Week 6 taking on the Buffalo Bills who rank 26th against the pass.
