DeAngelo Williams was only the third best running back on the Carolina Panthers during Sunday's game against the Atlanta Falcons. He finished the day with 12 carries for 44 yards and zero touchdowns. Quarterback Cam Newton led all Panthers running backs with 50 yards on six carries.
Williams finally broke the century mark a week ago when he picked up 115 yards on the ground against the New Orleans Saints. He needed just nine carries and a 69-yard run to make it happen. That run also resulted in his first touchdown of the season.
Williams had 258 rushing yards entering Sunday's game against the Falcons. He was ranked the 26th best running back entering the week, according to Yahoo!'s fantasy rankings.
