David Nelson was unable to come up with a touchdown grab on Sunday for the Buffalo Bills, but he did haul in four receptions for 62 yards, best on the team. Ryan Fitzpatrick targeted him six times, second only to Steve Johnson's 10, which bodes well for him as long as he starts in place of Donald Jones.
Nelson moved into the starting lineup on Sunday following Donald Jones' high-ankle sprain the previous week. Acting as the slot receiver in previous weeks, Nelson tallied 23 receptions for 257 yards and one touchdown. But over the previous two games, Nelson's production slipped to three catches for 24 yards.
Johnson was just the No. 24 wide receiver in the Week 6 Yahoo! NFL rankings, 13 spots behind teammate Steve Johnson.
