Daniel Thomas Status Update: Miami RB Questionable, Expects To Play

Stay connected with SB Nation

The Miami Dolphins' rookie running back Daniel Thomas has been struggling for weeks with a hamstring injury, delivering solid production when he's on the field but missing half his team's games to this point.

It seems the bye week has done him well, because despite being listed as questionable on the injury report for the Dolphins' monday night game against the rival Jets, Thomas said he expects to play. Here's the report from the Sun-Sentinel:

Though Thomas can't say too much about his health because of the Dolphins' policies on such things, he did say it was good to be back. "Yeah," he said. "It feels very good just to know that I'm finally going to get to play. It's very encouraging and exciting, man."

Though hamstring injuries are not to be trifled with, it seems safe to plug him into your lineups this week.
