The Washington Redskins will be without one of Rex Grossman's targets Sunday afternoon against the Philadelphia Eagles, as wide receiver Anthony Armstrong has been declared inactive with a hamstring injury.
Armstrong had been questionable after missing the 'Skins' last game two weeks ago with the same injury. Despite having a bye to rest up, Armstrong was limited in practice this week and couldn't get healthy enough to play.
His absence means more looks for Santana Moss in particular, but Chris Cooley and the 'Skins running backs, namely Tim Hightower and Ryan torain, should each see some trickle down increase in production. Armstrong has been a semi-reliable deep threat the past two seasons, so if Grossman is going to look downfield, Santana Moss, who is about the same size as Armstrong, will get those looks.
