Josh Freeman Fantasy Recap: Bucs QB Rebounds Versus Saints

Stay connected with SB Nation

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Josh Freeman bounced back nicely Sunday afternoon against the New Orleans Saints, a week after a dismal performance had some questioning his fantasy ability. Freeman had thrown two picks and only 187 yards against the 49ers before welcoming the Saints to town. Although his completion percentage remained south of 60%, Freeman was otherwise spectacular in the Bucs victory, throwing for 303 yards and two touchdowns.

Freeman and the Bucs are back in action this Sunday against a Bears defense that has been rather questionable against the pass in 2011. The Bears have been inconsistent at best and Freeman likely is worth rolling back out if you have been starting him. The Bucs are likely going to have a few ups and downs throughout the season, but you'll simply have to ride the roller coaster if Freeman is your QB.
