Miami Dolphins wide receiver Brandon Marshall put together a huge performance on Monday Night Football against the New York Jets, but actually had a chance to do so much more. Marshall finished the game with 109 yards on six receptions as Matt Moore targeted him all night long. Although Darrelle Revis covered Marshall most of the evening, Moore showed no fear in going to his best receiver. This would seem to bode well for future fantasy success.
Marshall's performance was big but in reality it could have been much bigger. He missed a touchdown catch and ran out of bounds on a big play when he seemingly could have continued for more yards. We don't know exactly what the balancing act was going down the line, but it seemed just a bit off.
Moving forward, Brandon Marshall could re-emerge as an excellent fantasy option. If Matt Moore is going to target him so frequently, there is nothing to stop him from putting together a nice run in coming weeks. This coming Sunday the Dolphins host the Denver Broncos, which seemingly bodes well for Marshall.
