As Mark Sanchez tends to do with strange frequency, he once again turned in a weird fantasy performance. The New York Jets quarterback led his team back from a large deficit, throwing three touchdowns, but only threw for 173 yards in the process. He also threw an interception.
Sanchez was averaging 229 passing yards a game with 1,459 passing yards on the season and 9 touchdowns through his first six games of the 2011 NFL season. Sanchez's passing yards per game is up nearly 30 yards per game from last season.
Sanchez was ranked by Yahoo! as the 18th ranked quarterback heading into Week 7 taking on the Chicago Bears who rank 25th against the pass.
