Adrian Peterson Fantasy: Peterson Has 70 Rushing Yards and A TD At Half

Stay connected with SB Nation

Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson had a solid first half against the Green Bay Packers. At the half, Peterson has 11 carries for 69 yards, including a 29-yard run and a 1-yard touchdown run.

The league's best running back had a tall order ahead of him as his Vikings hosted the Green Bay Packers. If Week 6 against the Bears was any indication, he does not do well — 12 carries for 39 yards and a touchdown, thankfully — when the Vikings are playing from behind.

Before last week's atrocity, Peterson's worst performance was in Week 5 against the Chiefs, when he had 23 carries for 80 yards. He's a ridiculously reliable back you can depend on for, minimum, a solid output. If he's having a good day, well, enjoy putting another notch in the win column.
