Brandon Lloyd couldn't help lead his new team to a win as the St. Louis Rams lost to the Dallas Cowboys by four touchdowns. That doesn't mean he didn't help him fantasy teams, however, as Lloyd had his third best game of the season on Sunday.
Lloyd wasn't impressive by any means, but the wide receiver did haul in six receptions for 74 yards from stand-in quarterback A.J. Feeley. Lloyd was targeted 12 times in the game, too -- something that should only improve once he has more than three days of practice to integrate himself with the Rams quarterback duo.
Over the first six weeks of the season, Lloyd had accumulated 19 receptions for 283 yards and zero touchdown receptions. Lloyd saw his role diminished in John Fox's role after leading the league in receiving yards with 1,448 in 201. But after the NFL trade deadline deal, Lloyd found himself in St. Louis with his old coach, Rams offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels.
