Dustin Keller turned in what has become a pretty standard performance, catching four passes for 53 yards on Sunday against the San Diego Chargers. The New York Jets tight end's longest play of the afternoon was a 34-yard catch, but it was an otherwise quiet afternoon.
Keller was averaging 53 receiving yards a game with 319 receiving yards on the season and 2 touchdowns through his first six games of the 2011 NFL season. Keller's receiving yards per game is up nearly 10 yards per game from 2008.
Keller was ranked by Yahoo! as the 12th ranked tight end heading into Week 7 taking on the Chicago Bears who rank 25th against the pass.
