Owen Daniels had another workmanlike performance for the Houston Texans, catching four passes for 74 yards in a victory over the Tennessee Titans on Sunday. Daniels was held out of the endzone, which keeps it from being a huge fantasy performance by tight end standards, but it's hard to complain about those numbers.
Daniels was averaging 47 receiving yards a game with 284 passing yards on the season and 3 touchdowns through his first six games of the 2011 NFL season. Daniels' receiving yards per game are up nearly 5 yards per game from last season.
Daniels was ranked by Yahoo! as the 5th ranked tight end heading into Week 7 taking on the Tennessee Titans who rank 12th against the pass.
