The Dallas Cowboys officially declared running back Felix Jones out for Sunday's game against the St. Louis Rams. He did not practice at all this week after a high-ankle sprain took him out of last Sunday's game against the New England Patriots. He is expected to miss two to four weeks
In his place, fantasy owners should have already picked up DeMarco Murray to make up for Jones' absence. The Cowboys could always go with Tashard Choice at running back, but Murray is built more like a feature back. He has just 24 carries for 71 yards and zero touchdowns on the season. It wouldn't be a surprise if he matched those numbers on Sunday against the Rams, a team that is winless.
Still, Murray is a rookie and could struggle. Make a solid assessment on the roster before starting or sitting him.
