Peyton Hillis Has Been Fantasy Kryptonite In 2011

Stay connected with SB Nation

Peyton Hillis is out for the Cleveland Browns' game against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 6. It's just the latest issue for Hillis in a season that has fantasy players understandably frustrated.

Hillis, the Madden NFL 12 cover athlete, has had a truly disappointing 2011. His one great game came in Week 2 against the lowly Colts, and he didn't even break 100 yards in it, rushing for 94 yards and two touchdowns. He hasn't had more than 17 carries or more than 57 yards in any other game, and will be missing his second game on the season this Sunday.

That's quite a fall for a back some expected to be the Browns' workhorse for years to come. And considering Monterio Hardesty's good play in relief of Hillis, it's possible that the bottom hasn't quite come yet.
