St. Louis Rams running back Steven Jackson is helping his team make today's game against the Dallas Cowboys more competitive than most thought it would be, especially with Sam Bradford sidelined with a high ankle sprain. Through the first half, Jackson has 59 rushing yards on 12 carries, including a six-yard touchdown run following a 40-yard breakaway. He also has one catch, for negative yardage.
Jackson's been a game-changer for the Rams in 2011, but he hasn't been very healthy. He scored a 47-yard touchdown in Week 1 before going out with an injury, then, after the Rams' bye in Week 5 afforded him a chance to heal up, had 96 yards on the ground against the mighty Packers in Week 6.
