Percy Harvin looked to be an appealing option for fantasy owners as the Green Bay Packers secondary has looked anything but solid the past few weeks. The Minnesota Vikings wide receiver wasn't able to take advantage, however, as he was sidelined with a rib injury early and did not return.
Harvin had two receptions for 15 yards and had two rushing attempts for another eight yards, but he was forced to leave following a nine-yard reception on the Vikings last play of the first half and never returned.
It's been an up-and-down year for Percy Harvin, with solid games negated by bad games. But heading into the week, there were signs of hope. Donovan McNabb had struggled to stretch the field so far this season, and rookie quarterback Christian Ponder was given the starting job heading into Week 7.
Harvin came into the week projected to be the 23rd-best quarterback by Yahoo! Sports.
