New York Jets wide receiver Santonio Holmes was a no-show in the team's victory over the San Diego Chargers. He had just two catches for 24 yards. Plaxico Burress had just 25 yards on four catches, but his three touchdown receptions provided fantasy owners with a huge boost. Better luck for Holmes and fantasy owners next week.
Holmes' yardage is down -- for the year, he picked up just 287 yards in the passing game -- but he does have three receiving touchdowns on the year. As New York has struggled in pass protection, Holmes has seen his numbers drop, and there may be no end in sight.
Holmes came into the week ranked as the 16th-best receiver by Yahoo! Sports.
