This season has been the year of the quarterback for most teams, but English fans attending their first NFL game might walk away from Wembley Stadium in London thinking the league is dominated by running backs -- in particular, ones wearing Chicago Bears jerseys.
Neither Jay Cutler or Josh Freeman have looked all that impressive -- neither one has topped 200 yards passing, and they've combined for five interceptions with much of the fourth quarter left to play -- but Matt Forte has been excellent, carrying the ball 20 times for 128 yards. He's found the end zone, as has his backup Marion Barber (four carries, 42 yards).
The Bucs, on the other hand, lost Earnest Graham early in the game and have struggled to get anything going: Kregg Lumpkin has eight carries for 15 yards, and sadly, that leads the team.
For the year, this is just the latest of a string excellent games for Forte: he came into the game averaging 136 yards in his last three.
