After the trade of Brandon Lloyd from the Denver Broncos to St. Louis Rams, there were going to be fantasy implications. Lloyd has been said by many to have one of the better sets of hands in the league today, but Denver decided to move him anyway. They shipped him off to the NFC West where he could rejoin Josh McDaniels in St. Louis and hopefully provide a true number one receiver for Sam Bradford.
Bradford was out today but Lloyd still led the Rams on the day with 6 receptions for 74 yards, catching passes from backup A.J. Feeley. Lloyd might be worth more in St. Louis than he was in Denver as soon as Bradford returns to action. It may take them a while to develop a chemistry, but Lloyd seems to be a reliable pass catcher no matter who is throwing him the ball.
