Pierre Garcon Fantasy Stats: Colts Offensive Woes Claim Another Victim

Stay connected with SB Nation

When the starting quarterback throws for just 67 yards and an interception, it's a given that fantasy points were hard to come by. Pierre Garcon caught just three passes for 31 yards on Sunday night as the Indianapolis Colts offense sputtered, stalled and was all-around hapless against the New Orleans Saints. In a 62-7 blowout, none of the Colts were viable, or useful, fantasy plays.

Garcon entered Week 7 as Curtis Painter's favorite target. Since Painter replaced Kerry Collins in the lineup as the starter, Garcon had caught 15 passes for 323 yards and four touchdowns. However, he did hurt his points total in the game against the Cincinnati Bengals by fumbling the ball. It was clear that Garcon had overtaken Reggie Wayne as the No. 1 receiver this season.
