The Houston Texans demolished the Tennessee Titans on Sunday and they have their two running backs to thank in part for the victory. Arian Foster put together a masterful performance of 115 rushing yards and 112 receiving yards, to go along with three total touchdowns. Foster struggled early in the year with a hamstring injury but appears to be back at 100%. While the Texans have struggled at times without Andre Johnson, Foster has taken the lead for the team and put them on his back.
Ben Tate benefited from the blowout as well, finishing the game with 104 yards on 15 carries. He remains a useful handcuff alongside Foster, but is not one you would normally expect to start. He had a big game on Sunday, but the odds are slim of that happening on a frequent basis while Foster is healthy.
The Texans host the Jacksonville Jaguars next Sunday. Andre Johnson is getting closer to coming back, but there is no word yet on his availability for next Sunday. If Johnson returns, it would cut into Foster's receiving numbers a bit, but could be a boon for his rushing opportunities.
