A day after sitting out practice, Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson and wide receiver Percy Harvin both returned to practice on Thursday. Both were listed as limited as they only took part in individual drills. While it would be nice to see them both get a full workout in before Sunday, odds are high that both Peterson and Harvin play this Sunday against the Carolina Panthers.
Tight end Visanthe Shiancoe sat out a second straight day of practice as he continues to deal with a foot ailment. He could still practice tomorrow, but with back-to-back DNPs, it is unlikely that Shiancoe will play this Sunday against the Panthers. If Shiancoe sits, Kyle Rudolph would likely get the starting nod, with Jim Kleinsasser also getting a few backup snaps.
This weekend's matchup against the Panthers provides a variety of fantasy possibilities given Carolina's defensive woes. Even Christian Ponder could be an interesting play if you are derailed by any bye week issues this week. If he can have AP and Harvin at his disposal, the Vikings could be an intriguing option this weekend.
