The Houston Texans have found it difficult to get much going against the Jacksonville Jaguars defense today. Quarterback Matt Schaub, despite a fumble, did get his team on the board with a two-yard rushing touchdown in the first quarter. After halftime, Schaub threw a seven-yard touchdown pass to tight end Joel Dreesen to give the Texans a 14-7 lead.
Schaub is coming off a great game in Week 7 without star wide receiver Andre Johnson. In Week 8, the Texans expected to welcome Johnson back into the fold, which only could mean good things for Schaub and the offense. Without his favorite target, Schaub has been adequate, but he's infinitely more dangerous with arguably the league's best receiver catching passes.
