DeSean Jackson played on one of the best offenses of the week, but unfortunately Michael Vick has enough other targets on the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday night that Jackson wasn't given too many opportunities. The speedster finished with just three receptions for 31 yards as Brent Celek and Jeremy Maclin caught touchdown passes while fellow receiver Jason Avant had five receptions for 74 yards.
Jackson went into Sunday's game against the Cowboys with a pretty solid track record. In five games against the Eagles' NFC East rival, Jackson had averaged 88.4 yards per game. The last time they played, he had one of his best games of his career, catching for balls for 210 yards.
This year, he had been averaging 76.0 yards per game, but had scored just two touchdowns. His season has been a bit up and down so far, recording three solid games and three disappointing ones. He had gone over 100 yards twice and 30 or less twice. But that's kind of the life of a Jackson owner, isn't it?
