While people can fuss and fight all they want about Tim Tebow's merits as a real-world quarterback, let's be honest: you don't care about that at all. What you care about is fake football. Well...Tebow isn't necessarily great in that realm either. Tebow was able to connect with Eric Decker for a late garbage time touchdown at the end of the Broncos' terrible loss to the Detroit Lions, but it didn't help his stats much. He finished 18-39 for 172 yards, a touchdown and an interception.
In the Detroit Lions in Week 8, Tebow faced a team known for a fearsome pass rush that feasts on quarterbacks like starved real-life lions on antelopes with knee issues. Luckily for his health, Tebow is mobile. He ran 10 times for 63 yards, but was also sacked seven times. He's unharmed, because he is the size of a moose.
