Percy Harvin Questionable With Rib Injury

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Percy Harvin is listed as "Questionable" after missing most of this week's practices with a rib injury.

Harvin's rib issue landed him on the team's injury report beginning in Week 6. Listed as "Questionable" for that week's game against the Chicago Bears, Harvin caught a team-high seven passes for 78 yards, had one rushing attempt for five yards and returned two kickoffs for 48 yards in the 39-10 loss. Listed as "Probable" for last week's loss to the Green Bay Packers, Harvin had two receptions for 15 yards, two rushing attempts for eight yards and returned two kickoffs for 55 yards.

Harvin expects to play, saying it's just a matter of pain tolerance.

"Without getting into too many details, it's just basically like (a) hamstring," Harvin said via Tom Pelissero of 1500ESPN.com. "You can kind of feel it pulling, so it kind of makes me nervous at times. But other than that, it's just pain tolerance."

The Vikings released veteran wide receiver Bernard Berrian this week, but elevated 2011 seventh-round pick Stephen Burton from the practice squad to the 53-man roster. All five receivers on the roster, including Harvin, are expected to dress for Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers.
