You probably aren't expecting much out of Delone Carter, and as long as your expectations are in order, you can't be too disappointed with his performance on Sunday against the Tennessee Titans. The Indianapolis Colts running back rushed for 46 yards on nine carries. Clearly, those aren't huge numbers, but they are in line with what he's been doing this year.
Carter had 259 rushing yards and 12 receiving yards on the season with 2 touchdowns on the ground and zero in the air. Carter was averaging 37 yards rushing and 1 yard receiving per game. Carter is pushing for playing time over Joseph Addai in his rookie season.
Carter was ranked as the 26th ranked running back according to Yahoo! heading into his match up with the Tennessee Titans.
