Minnesota Vikings tight end Vincent Shiancoe caught three passes for 37 yards. He did not score a touchdown in the Vikings win over the Carolina Panthers today. Those numbers were the Vikings' tight end's worst since catching just one pass against Arizona in week 5. Shiancoe trailed Adrian Peterson and Percy Harvin for catches and receiving yards in today's game. Minnesota scored just one receiving touchdown today.
Schiancoe had 204 receiving yards on the season with 2 touchdowns entering Week 8. Shianco was averaging 29 yards receiving per game. Schianco's receiving yards per game was down nearly 5 yards per game from last season.
Shianco was ranked as the 14th ranked tight end according to Yahoo! heading into his match up with the Carolina Panthers.
