The Detroit Lions will be without running back Jahvid Best once again as he is still sitting out due to a concussion he suffered two weeks ago. The Lions will give him another week off as they get ready for their Week 9 bye week. There was talk about Best sitting out the entire season due to the concussion, but it looks like the Lions will give him plenty of time to recover and see where he's at prior to Week 10.
In Best's absence, look for Maurice Morris and Keiland Williams to once again rotate in the backfield. With the Lions going against the Broncos porous rush defense, whoever starts at running back should be adequate. Last week, Williams had 44 rushing yards on just 9 carries against the Falcons.
