Braylon Edwards Injury Update: Game Time Decision

Stay connected with SB Nation

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Braylon Edwards will be a game time decision on Sunday against the Cleveland Browns. Edwards has been limited with a knee injury that had him do light work in practice this week. He's recovering from knee surgery to repair a torn meniscus. Edwards will warm up on Sunday and then be evaluated by the stafff.

With Edwards having the dread game time decision designation and the fact that he's coming off knee surgery, it would probably be wise to stay away from Edwards this week until he's definitely a go. If Edwards doesn't play, look for Ted Ginn and Brett Swain to get a lot more playing time. With Ginn returning kicks, it's likely you'll see some Kyle Williams as well.
