Dwayne Bowe was relatively quiet during Monday's win over the Chargers, finishing the game with four catches for 62 yards. Considering San Diego lost starting cornerback Quentin Jammer to cramps late in the game, Bowe seemed destined to add to his modest fantasy line, but that's when Kansas City's rushing game finally started to click, allowing the Chiefs to keep the ball on the ground.
Bowe hauled in six passes for 76 yards last week in Kansas City's win over the Oakland Raiders. He remains Cassel's top target by a wide margin -- he has 558 yards on the season, with Steve Breaston (335 yards) and Jonathan Baldwin (96) a distant second and third, respectively. But on Monday, it was Baldwin who led all KC receivers with 82 yards, catching Cassel's lone touchdown.
San Diego slowed Bowe down in Week 3 but couldn't stop him completely. He caught four balls for 67 yards and a touchdown. Bowe continues to be ranked in the top ten among wide receivers across the league in fantasy stats and it would be crazy to sit him any week.
