With a difficult game against the San Francisco 49ers tomorrow, the New York Giants are facing several significant injury issues. Wide receiver Hakeem Nicks is listed as questionable, and will be a game-time decision for the New York Giants. Nicks is dealing with a hamstring injury that kept him off the field in last week’s win over the Patriots.
Nicks did manage to get some work in at practice this week. He was running at full speed on Wednesday, practicing in a limited role the rest of the week. Nicks was going to have his hamstring looked at again on Saturday, but the results have been good so far for him. Reports make it sound as though he could play, and ESPN’s John Clayton predicted that he will. He will test it again before the team makes a decision on Sunday. The game is scheduled for a 4:15 p.m. Eastern kickoff.
