New England Patriots running back BenJarvus Green-Ellis is listed as "Questionable" for Sunday night's game against the New York Jets with a toe injury that limited throughout the week's practices.
Playing on a one-year restricted free agent tender, Green-Ellis leads the Patriots with 452 yards and five touchdowns. Green-Ellis' most productive game of the 2011 season came in the first meeting with the Jets, with the former undrafted free agent out of Ole Miss running for 136 yards and a pair of touchdowns in the 30-21 win at Gillette Stadium.
The Jets rank 21st in the NFL against the run, allowing an average of 123.0 yards per game, but have held opponents to under 100 yards on the ground the last two games. If Green-Ellis is unable to play, the Patriots will likely take a committee approach, with Kevin Faulk, Danny Woodhead and 2011 third-round pick Stevan Ridley carrying the load.
