Titans quarterback Matt Hasselbeck completed 15 of 27 passes for 219 yards and one touchdown. Hasselbeck had a resurgent Chris Johnson to help lead the Titans offense in a big win over the Carolina Panthers.
Matt Hasselbeck is having a career resurrection with the Tennessee Titans. This season he has a 62.5 percent completion rate, his highest since 2007. He has passed for 2,013 yards with 13 touchdowns and six interceptions. If he can continue at this rate, he figures to have his best season since 2007. Making that much more enjoyable for Hasselbeck, doubtlessly, is the fact that Seattle opted for the combination of Tarvaris Jackson and Charlie Whitehurst rather than retain their long-time quarterback this season.
This week Hasselbeck faces a Carolina pass defense ranked in the middle of the league. He threw two touchdowns and topped 270 yards last week against the Bengals. Fame Teams, SB Nation's fantasy site, has him ranked 21st on their list of quarterbacks this week.
