New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski has provided solid fantasy numbers for his owners early in the second half. He has caught six passes for 84 yards and two touchdowns. He had a touchdown catch waived off when it was determined that he stepped out of bounds and then was the first player touch the ball once he stepped back in. Shortly after that, Gronkowski came back with the second touchdown.
Gronkowski has had to split targets with Aaron Hernandez throughout the season, but due to the nature of the Patriots' offense both tight ends have been incredibly productive. Gronkowski has been the better option in recent weeks, with 22 receptions for 269 yards and touchdown over the three weeks prior to Sunday's game.
Yahoosports ranked Gronkowski as the fifth-best fantasy tight end for Week 10. He should continue to be one of the better options in the league within a prolific Pats passing offense led by Tom Brady, regardless of the opponent matchup.
