New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz was part of a Giants air attack that nearly got the win against the 49ers today. Cruz led all Giants' receivers with 84 yards. He had six catches, but never found the end zone in New York's 20-27 loss to San Francisco.
Cruz had 588 receiving yards on the season with 4 receiving touchdowns entering Week 10. Cruz was averaging 74 yards receiving per game. Cruz's receiving yards per game was up nearly 70 yards per game from last season.
Cruz was ranked as the 16th ranked wide receiver according to Yahoo! heading into his match up with the San Francisco 49ers who ranked 22nd against the pass, giving up 255 passing yards per game.
