LeGarrette Blount Fantasy Stats: Tampa Bay Buccaneers RB Gains Just 34 Yards

Stay connected with SB Nation

Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back LeGarrette Blount failed to help fantasy owners in any meaningful way on Sunday afternoon. Blount gained just 34 yards on 10 carries. Kregg Lumpkin nearly matched him by rushing for 31 yards on four carries.

Though he's been banged up in recent weeks, LeGarrette Blount was expected to carry a full load in his team's Week 10 matchup against the Houston Texans, but it wasn't a matchup that screamed optimism.

Blount played for the first time in a month last week against the Saints, and he was effective, rushing for 72 yards on just 13 carries. He didn't score a touchdown and he fumbled once, but it was a positive sign. The Texans, however, had the NFL's fourth-ranked rushing defense entering the game, so Blount would need to shake off a fair amount of rust to be productive.
