Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford is healthy enough to start to this week, as was expected heading into the week. He leads his team in a must-win division battle against the Chicago Bears. An ankle injury had been bothering Stafford last week. He did not participate in the Lions' bye week workout.
Stafford has thrown for 2,179 yards through eight games this season. He has 19 touchdowns and just four interceptions to go with a 61 percent completion rate. Calvin Johnson has 11 of those touchdowns. In short, he looks every bit like the first-overall pick that is at the center of a rebuilding Detroit Lions team.
Stafford is ranked seventh among quarterbacks for week 10 in the NFL, according to Fake Teams, SB Nation's fantasy sports site.
