San Francisco 49ers running back Frank Gore has always been a bit of an injury risk throughout his career and that showed on Sunday against the New York Giants. Gore rushed six times for zero yards and then missed all but one drive of the second half of the game. He caught one pass for eight yards in his brief time of the field.
Gore's been a potent runner this year, and a great option for fantasy owners. Running behind a rebuilt 49ers line, Gore topped 100 yards in each of his last five games entering Week 10, and had a touchdown on the ground in all of those games but San Francisco's Week 9 win over the Washington Redskins. It would be foolish to not start Gore if you're lucky enough to own him going forward.
