Tim Tebow Fantasy Recap: Broncos QB Continues To Amaze As Fantasy Option

If there were any doubts about Tim Tebow's ability to be a strong fantasy football quarterback, they were once again answered on Thursday Night Football. Tebow not only led his Denver Broncos to a thrilling last minute victory, but his fourth quarter heroics salvaged what could have been a dismal fantasy performance. Tebow finished the game with 104 passing yards, 68 rushing yards and a touchdown. He also avoided turning the ball over, thus finishing with approximately 16.8 points in basic leagues.

Even as people doubt him, Tim Tebow continues to amaze. His victory really was a team effort (Von Miller deserves a big thank you), but for fantasy purposes, he is a one-man machine. The rushing yards allow him to accumulate points that he has generally been unable to do with his passing skills. He is not quite at the elite level of a Drew Brees or Aaron Rodgers, but you could legitimately place him in the top ten of fantasy quarterbacks.

The Broncos face the Chargers and Vikings on the road over the next two weeks. Both have questionable pass defenses, but traditional reasons for starting quarterbacks really don't apply to Tim Tebow. He is a solid weekly start no matter the matchup until he proves otherwise. It is not the most in-depth of analysis, but it remains the truth.
