Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Josh Freeman has been dealing with a sore right thumb for several weeks now and the results reflect that injury. However, Freeman is listed as probable on the team's injury report and will attempt to pull off the upset against the Green Bay Packers.
Freeman reached a peak when he threw for 303 yards and two touchdowns against the New Orleans Saints before injuring his thumb the following week against the Chicago Bears. He threw four interceptions against the guys from the Windy City. After another decent game against the Saints, Freeman regressed last week when he went up against the Houston Texans. He completed just 45.5 percent of his passes and threw three interceptions.
Freeman will need to have a strong day passing when he goes up against the Packers. A quick-scoring Green Bay could force the Bucs to have Freeman throw early and often.
