Fred Jackson had been one of the best fantasy options at running back in 2011. An injury and a poor game against Miami may have knocked Jackson from the elite tier of running backs, however.
Jackson rushed for just 17 yards on seven carries in Buffalo's 35-8 loss to the Miami Dolphins, though he did have five catches for 50 yards. But Jackson left the game with an injury and did not return, and that may damage his value going forward.
Jackson hadn't rushed for fewer than 60 yards in a game entering Week 11, and had been averaging 5.6 yards per carry over the Bills' first nine games. Whether his drop is temporary or significant likely depends on the severity of his injury, but he might not be an automatic start in Week 12, as the Bills visit the Jets.
