Maurice Jones-Drew Fantasy Stats: Jaguars Runner Shines In Loss, Could Have Had Bigger Day

Stay connected with SB Nation

For Maurice Jones-Drew, the script is familiar: play well in a close Jaguars loss. That's what happened in Jacksonville's 14-10 loss to Cleveland in Week 11, and the way the game ended may leave Jaguars owners even less happy.

Jones-Drew ran for 87 yards and a touchdown in the game, and caught four passes for 31 yards, but he wasn't utilized on either of the two final downs of the game, as Blaine Gabbert threw incomplete passes from the Cleveland 2 to consign the Jaguars to defeat. And Jones-Drew was wide open in the flat on the final play of the game.

That's about par for the course for Jones-Drew owners, who have gotten just three 100-yard games and five rushing touchdowns out of the perennial first-round pick this season.
