Adrian Peterson Fantasy Stats: Minnesota Star Leaves Game With Ankle Injury

Stay connected with SB Nation

Adrian Peterson still goes near the top of nearly every fantasy draft. But the Minnesota Vikings' superstar may be on the shelf or diminished in the near future, thanks to an ankle injury sustained in Week 11.

The injury came early in Minnesota's 27-21 loss to Oakland. Peterson hurt his ankle on a seemingly normal tackle, and left the game. He wouldn't return, but X-rays of the ankle were negative, leaving Peterson's status up in the air for the rest of Minnesota's schedule.

Peterson had touchdowns in all but two of the Vikings' games entering Week 11, and had three 100-yard games. His six carries for 26 yards against the Raiders, though, were both season lows.
